The hamlet « Fontaine » is nestled at
the foot of the Bauges mountains, 360 mètres
up, at the crossroads of the three valleys, The Maurienne,
The Tarentaise and The Grésivaudan, close to the
vineyards of Savoy.
There is a small chapel at the entrance
of the village. When walking through the countryside you'll
discover planty of old washing basins.
Fontaine is attached to the village of Grésy-sur-Isère,
an authentic village with 1100 inhabitants where you'll
find à grocer's, a baker's, a butcher, a restaurant,
a post-office, a doctor and a pharmacist.
